Finally the seasons have turned towards autumn and leaves are changing colors! We have been very busy with a full slate of very successful events. Here are a few highlights:
Falmouth Road Race – August 21st, 2016, Woods Hole Community Center
With 13 runners this year raising over $16,000, we are excited to report that we’ve had our strongest result ever for this event! A big thank you to the dedicated runners of #teamgenfound! We will also be adding a new race event for 2017 – The Boston Run to Remember on May 28, 2017.
Annual “On the Field at Fenway Park” with Carl Yastrzemski – September 1st, 2016, Fenway 
Park
On the Field at Fenway Park was a success! Attendees hit from home plate, fielded off the Green Monster, and mingled with Red Sox Legends including Carl Yastrzemski! There were over 120 attendees and patients at the event and the event raised over $17,000.
10th Annual Cape Cod Fall Classic – September 16th, 2016, The Hyannisport Club
E.J. & Terry Jaxtimer and John & Beth Havlicek welcomed golfers and anglers for a beautiful day of golf and fishing, and a wonderful dinner program at the Hyannisport Club. This event was a tremendous success with $96,000 raised – over our goal by $15,000! A special thank you to EJ & Terry, John & Beth, all of the Committee members, volunteers and auction donors that helped make this event such a success.
Global Partners Golf Tournament – September 27th, 2016, Pinehills Golf Club
We concluded a busy September at the Pinehills Golf Club, with the Global Partners Golf Tournament, hosted by our generous partner, Global Partners. Thank you to our wonderful board representation of Judy Briggs, Matthew Hoffman, Brian McLaughlin, Michael Yanoff, Wally Roenick, and Jay Miller at the event. With 300 participants, funds raised were over $200,000. Proceeds will be split between The Genesis Foundation and the Jennifer Creed Fund.
