“From the moment I met my first patient family over 10 years ago, I fell in love with them, their families, and The Genesis Foundation for Children. It’s amazing to see these children not only grow up but to see the progress they make, reaching milestones such as eating, walking, communicating, increased self-confidence, riding a bike, golfing, playing a musical instrument, riding a horse, smiling, and getting a job. I beam with pride every time I see one of our patients, especially knowing how far they have grown personally.”

“My introduction to The Genesis Foundation came when I began my fellowship training with Dr. Feingold in 1992. I saw firsthand the Foundation’s great work and how my patients thrived and blossomed with the extra care and attention the Foundation provided. The added extras like our therapeutic programs made a world of difference. When I returned to The Feingold Center, I asked to be on the Board of Directors in order to be a voice for the families and children helped by the Foundation and to help broaden the Foundation’s reach and scope.”

“Since 1990, I have witnessed my late father-in-law, Dr. Murray Feingold, and Dr. Catherine Nowak acknowledge the fear parents have with incredible compassion, make difficult diagnoses, identify the treatment with multiple specialists, and then coordinate the care.  In my career as an Occupational Therapist, I have not seen a more effective model of treatment. The Genesis Foundation supports Dr. Feingold’s vision of Coordinated Care and continues to dramatically improve the lives of children and their families. It is my honor to be a Genesis Foundation board member to support the importance of specialized programs and unified care that prioritize children and their families.”
