Assistive Technology

We are committed to providing medically necessary assistive technologies to as many of the children seen through the Feingold Service at Mass General for Children as possible to help them thrive in our modern world.

To relieve the family of this financial burden, The Genesis Foundation helps to cover some of the cost of these specialized devices.

Assistive Technology includes:

iPads used as communication devices for non-verbal children.

Specialized footwear, corrective lenses, leg braces, and hearing aids.

Adaptive electric stroller or bicycle.

Learning devices

Braille computers for low vision students.

Please note, all families who are candidates for funding must be recommended by a physician at Mass General for Children’s Division of Genetics and Metabolism.
