“I’ve worked on the finance side of healthcare & biopharma for a few years and indirectly witnessed how many dreadful pediatric indications exist with little to no options for the children diagnosed. For me, Genesis represents an opportunity to get to know these patients and help on a more direct human level. I’m very excited to be of service to those battling through situations which I’m not sure I’d have the strength to make it through.”

“Getting into the financial services industry introduced to me to incredible people around Boston who I was able to connect with over our shared interests and willingness to do more for our community.  I’m honored to be involved with the YP Committee and the Genesis Foundation.  Even as an attendee at first, I knew this is a special organization – hard-working, compassionate individuals who do what it takes to help others with an incredible foundation behind it all.  The impacts that are made and felt here are life-changing.”

“I’ve had a long-standing passion for helping patients and making a difference in the medical community. Through my career in biotech, work in patient advocacy with pediatric rare diseases, and personal experiences with the healthcare system, I’ve seen the need for services and the coordinated care model that The Genesis Foundation provides to dovetail with the innovation occurring in the biotech industry. I’m thrilled to join the Young Professionals Executive Committee to further The Genesis Foundation’s mission to help children with genetic and/or rare diseases and disabilities live a fulfilled life.”

“From personal experience, I understand the difficulties family and patients with rare and genetic diseases experience. I joined Genesis because I want to help raise awareness and funds to help deliver coordinated care to patients and Genesis is a great platform to do so. Also, the team that the foundation has built is full of wonderful, dedicated people so it’s a privilege working together to help others.”
