The Campaign for the Herbert S. Hoffman Patient Assistance Fund
Dear friends of Herbert Hoffman and The Genesis Foundation for Children,
For 35 years, The Genesis Foundation has been helping children born with complex intellectual, developmental, and genetic disorders to achieve their full potential.
As the organization’s President, I am excited about a special campaign to raise money to support the patients and families of The Feingold Center at Boston Children’s Hospital – our primary beneficiary.
And as you may know, my father, Herbert, had been an important part of this organization’s success, serving as its long time Treasurer and active member of the Board of Directors’ Executive Committee. Sadly, he passed away on January 14, 2017 at the age of 87.
It is because of all he did for the children and their families who benefit from The Genesis Foundation that I became involved with this very special concern.
The proceeds from this $500,000 capital campaign are earmarked for a patient assistance fund to cover the cost of assistive technology to improve the lives of children with challenges of sight, hearing, speech, and motor skills.
If you would like to make a donation in his memory, please note the following, recognized levels of giving. The names of all our contributors of $500+ will be memorialized. All gifts made between now and the end of 2017 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, so please give as generously as you can.
